Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a government records desk. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official arrest or booking record. Contact the office responsible for the record directly.

Choose the Right Records Office

Windham County has no sheriff, county jail, or central county records unit. Start with the arresting agency for a recent local record, CT DOC for state custody, and the Judicial Branch for a pending case or disposition.

Killingly and Troop D Records

Killingly police and CSP dispatch: 860-779-4900

Resident-trooper case reports route through DESPP Reports and Records, 1111 Country Club Road, Middletown, CT 06457, 860-685-8250. Its GovQA process lists a nonrefundable $16 search fee for applicable state-police reports and no fixed completion time.

Plainfield Police

210 Norwich Road
Plainfield, CT 06374
Phone: 860-564-0804
Fax: 860-564-0808

Use the department's CFS and police-record request forms. The office gives no exact completion time because request volume varies, and it publishes no booking-photo fee.

Use these paths according to the question:

  • For an arrest report, booking sheet, bond record, or existing identification photo, begin with the arresting police department or DESPP records office.
  • For current state correctional custody, use the Connecticut Department of Correction offender search. It is text-only and does not cover every recent local arrest.
  • For a pending charge or final court outcome, use the Connecticut Judicial Branch criminal case tools. Booking allegations can later be changed or dismissed.
  • For the county-wide search sequence and public-record request steps, consult the Windham County arrest-record hub.
  • For an official warrant lead, use the Judicial Branch route described under Wanted Fugitives; a warrant is not a conviction.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator rather than a local police office.
